Whoa! Lokesh Kanagaraj’s part in Sivakarthikeyan’s new movie revealed

Tamil cinema’s current sensation Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently directing Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’.  He is already the most wanted filmmaker after that as he has enormous projects waiting for him with such luminaries as Superstar Rajinikanth (‘Thalaivar 171’), Kamal Haasan-Suriya (‘Vikram 3’), Karthi (‘Kaithi 3’) and several other pan Indian superstars.

In the meantime in a rencent press interaction ‘Mandela’ fame director Madonne Ashwin has shared that his close buddy Lokesh Kanagaraj has contributed many ideas for his new movie ‘Maaveeran’.    He added that he is very happy that Lokesh is directing Thalapathy Vijay for the second time in ‘Leo’ after ‘Master’ as he has seen his skill in executing a screenplay expertly for over a decade right from their short films days.   Ashwin pointed out that Lokesh’s massive growth has been a big inspiration for contemporary filmmakers like him. 

Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar play the lead pair in ‘Maaveeran’ with Saritha, Sunil, Mysskin and Yogi Babu appearing in important characters.  Bharat Shankar is composing the music while Vidhu Ayyanna is the DOP and Philominraj is handling the editing.   The new age action entertainer is produced by Shanti Talkies on a grand scale and will be releasing worldwide in Tamil and Telugu this July 14th.
