Breaking! Sivakarthiikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi to clash after six years

In the long history of Tamil cinema that is almost a century old fans have divided and rooted for two major stars and percieved them as rivals. We had Thiagarajar Bhagavathar-P.U Chinappa, MGR-Sivaji, Rajini-Kamal, Ajith-Vijay and Dhanush Simbu at various time periods.
In very recent times fans of Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi who are placed on the same pedestal as rivals although their approach to their careers are totally different and they are close friends in real life.
According to trade information Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming 'Don' and Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' will clash at the box office in February 2022. It is beleived that both the producers are eyeing the Valentines Day weekend. The two charismatic stars have locked horns twice in the past namely in 2013 when 'Ethir Neechal' and 'Soodhu Kavvum' released on the same day and in 2016 when 'Remo' and 'Rekka' came out together.
'Don' directed by Cibi Chakravarthy has Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, S.J. Suryah and Sivaangi in the cast. 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' is directed by Vignesh Shivan and has Vijay Sethupathi romancing Nayanthara and Samantha. Stay tuned for the official updates.
