'Maaveeran', the highly anticipated film from Sivakarthikeyan, is preparing for a grand theatrical release on July 14. The makers dropped a fun-filled promo video a few days ago to announce the release of the second single from the album. Now, the new song 'Vannarapettayila' is out on the internet.

With music composed by Bharath Shankar, the movie's lead pair SK and Aditi Shankar rendered the romantic number in their voices with lyrics penned by Yugabharathi. Shobi did the choreography. Vannarapettayila is a 3.5-minute cute track and a perfect blend of peppy and melody. The lyrical video shows the actor recording the song in his 'SK21' getup.

It also features hilarious BTS moments from the 'Maaveeran' shooting spot with director Madonne Ashwin and the team. The chemistry between Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar seems to be fresh and adorable. The production house, Shanthi Talkies, has planned a grand audio launch event for Maaveeran in Sai Ram College, Chennai on July 2nd.

Maaveeran is said to be a fantasy action entertainer with a strong social message. Reportedly, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen as a cartoonist whose arts come true. The star cast also comprises Mysskin, Sunil, Saritha, Yogi Babu and many others. The film has cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing by Philomin Raj with stunts choreographed by Yannick Ben.
