‘Sita Ramam’, to be released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, has Dulquer Salmaan as the lead man. Days after its teaser was unveiled, the makers today revealed Sumanth’s first look from the movie.
Director Hanu Raghavapudi has cast the ‘Kapatadhaari’ actor in the role of a brigadier who sports a handlebar moustache that was typical of the 1960s era. In a video glimpse, we see the ‘Malli Raava’ actor say that starting a war is in our hands but ending it is not in our hands. The Madras Regiment brigadier seems intent on something. ‘Brigadier’ Vishnu Sharma looks poised to do something stellar.
Going by the glimpse, Sumanth has played an unconventional supporting role for the first time ever.
Produced by Aswini Dutt and Priyanka Dutta on Swapna Cinema, the multi-lingual has been confirmed for an August 5 release.
The ambitious film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar, while PS Vinod (joined by Shreyaas Krishna as an Additional Cinematographer) is cranking the camera.
