No more labels required for director Siva

‘Siruthai’ Siva, ‘ Veeram’ Siva and now ‘Vedalam’ Siva. Director Siva has been addressed with different labels by audience after every successful film. But truly there should not be a label for Siva, since he has carved a niche for himself with his successful films. Siva may not have thought he would become a maverick director as he is today, his first film ‘Shouryam’ released in 2008. After years of work in Telugu, Siva remade ‘Vikramarkudu’ a telugu film into Tamil as ‘Siruthai’ casting Karthi, Tamannah, and Santhanam in lead. ‘Siruthai’ became very huge success because of the elements in it. ‘Siruthai’ proved Siva’s capability on working out the comedy sequences, action blocks and emotional bonds in right proportions in a commercial movie.

The second project for Siva in Tamil was with a Big Name of the industry. With Ajith Kumar and others, Siva tried a new colour to his graph and ‘Veeram’ turned out to be a super hit movie. Siva changed the attire, looks, expressions and dialogue modules of Ajith in ‘Veeram’, as the star had been appearing in urban mode in his films in the preceding years. The credit for this must be given to Director Siva and Ajith.

Director Siva has been upgrading his ability cultivate happiness through his films and his latest outing ‘Vedalam’ proves he is on the right track to emerge as one of the most successful directors in Tamil Cinema. With his three films we can expect his future outputs to be served as more entertaining and fulfilling films for the audience and profitable ventures for producers.
