Simbu lock horns with this Malayalam actor in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu!

Simbu is currently working on the rustic thriller Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu directed by Gautham Menon and bankrolled by Vels Films International. Radhika Sarathkumar, who is playing Simbu’s mother, will be seen in a pivotal role. Kannada actress Kayadu Lohar is speculated to be the leading lady.

Now, the latest reports suggest that Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav is said to be the antagonist in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The talented young actor previously starred in the films Drishyam, Charlie, and the web series The Family Man. The multi-faceted actor had gone through a drastic transformation for the never before role.

The makers shot the initial schedules in Karaikudi and Chennai. Recently, the makers of the VTK filmed a high-octane action sequence in Mumbai under the stunt choreography of Lee Whittaker of Fast and Furious 5 and The Spy Next Door fame. Now, the team has planned to shoot the next leg in Mumbai and Chennai which will be lasting for more than 25 days.

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is likely to hit the screens in February 2022. AR Rahman is composing the music for VTK while Jeyamohan is penning the dialogues. This movie marks the third collaboration of STR and GVM with Isai Puyal ARR and poet Thamarai.
