Bollywood queen pairing up with Simbu? Who are the leading ladies of ‘STR 48’?

Simbu is gearing up for his magnum opus project ‘STR 48’. He has been shaping up his body for the film since last year. Touted to be a historical flick, the actor is said to be playing both hero and villain in this biggie. Now, the hot buzz is about the heroines to his dual roles.

If the reports are to be believed, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is speculated to be a part of this movie. Some sources also say that Keerthy Suresh and Pooja Hegde are in talks to play the female leads if not the Bollywood queen on board ‘STR 48’. Unless the makers drop an official word, we have to take it with a pinch of salt.

‘STR 48’ directed by Desingh Periasamy is bankrolled by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. The set works are going on in a film city. Nearly half of the movie is said to be shot in the sets. The makers had planned simultaneous post-production works to avoid reshoot and control the budget reportedly. A team of VFX professionals has been working since the pre-production of this film.
