Simbu’s next film director gives a hot update with photo

Simbu after delivering the sensational hit movie ‘Maanaadu’ directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi has completed shooting for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu’ which is slated for release on September 15th.

The charismatic star was scheduled to shoot his remaining portions for ‘Pathu Thala’ in June but had to fly to the USA to aid his father T. Rajendar who is undergoing advanced treatment in New York.  A couple of days back it was announced that TR has recoverd from his stomach ailment but has to take rest for another month.  Simbu after hearing the good news returned to Chennai.

Simbu on his return home has met ‘Pathu Thala’ director Obeli N Krishna and had a discussion.  A photo of the duo has gone viral on the internet confirming that the shooting will start very soon.  The ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’ fame filmmaker wrote on Twitter “All set for #pathuthala shoot with bro ⁦@SilambarasanTR_ ⁩ feeling happy for recovery of his dad”

‘Pathu Thala’ produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavelraja has music by A.R. Rahman.  The ensemble cast comprises of Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiarasan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Manushuyaputhiran and Teejay.  It has been officially announced that the film will hit the screens worldwide on December 14th this year.
