"Stay tuned for something mind-blowing coming your way," the makers of Ram Pothineni's 19th movie today said, announcing the onboarding of Kollywood star hero Simbu. The 'Maanaadu' and 'Manmadhudu' actor will be crooning a song for the untitled movie directed by Lingusamy N.
Simbu is known well for his singing talent. He has, in the past, sung for AR Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Deva, S Thaman, among others. He is also a composer and a lyricist. This is Simbu's first song for Devi Sri Prasad, the Rockstar of recent chartbusters like 'Pushpa: The Rise'.
Coming to RAPO19, which has 'Uppena' sensation Krithi Shetty as the heroine, the film has Akshara Gowda in a glamorous role. Aadhi Pinisetty is the main antagonist. Touted to be a pakka mass entertainer, the film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screens. Fights are by Anbu-Arivu. Dialogues are by Sai Madhav Burra of the recent 'RRR' fame. Cinematography is by Sujith Vassudev.
This is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and will release simultaneously in both languages.
