Mysskin had a fallout with his best friend Vishal during the making of ‘Thupparivaalan 2’ and eventually walked out of the project. Vishal has already announced that he would be taking over as director with music score by Ilayaraja. Mysskin is said to be working double vigorously on his next project to prove a point and has reportedly approached Simbu to play the lead role.
Industry sources are of the opinion that the Simbu-Mysskin project will be bankrolled by Studio Green Gnanavelraja and that the project will be announced once the COVID 19 spread is curbed and things return to normalcy. The sources add that Studio Green started the Tamil remake of the Kannada super hit ‘Mufti’ with Simbu and Gautham Karthik in the lead roles and the shoot was stopped midway due to unknown reasons.
It is now said that the ‘Mufti’ remake is dropped and instead Simbu’s call sheets for the film will be utilized for the Mysskin project. We have to wait for the official confirmation on this one though but a Simbu-Mysskin combo does look pretty enticing for movie lovers.
