As we reported earlier, Simbu’s 48th film, ‘STR48’, will be bankrolled by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. The movie team made the official announcement today with a stunning video on social media and the fans are on cloud nine over the electrifying combo.
STR48 is going to be the costliest project in the actor’s career, which will be directed by Desingh Periasamy of ‘Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithal’ fame. It is worth mentioning that Indiaglitz broke the news first to you in this regard. The music director of this project is not announced yet but reports say that Anirudh or AR Rahman may score the music.
Sharing the marana mass video, Atman Silambarasan TR wrote, “Dreams do come true #STR48” (sic). Kamal Haasan took to Twitter and penned, “Cinema connects generations; Reduces gaps. Cheers to youth and talent!” on joining hands with STR and Desingh Periasamy. This project is jointly bankrolled by Turmeric Media and Magizh Mandram.
More details on STR48 are awaited. The shooting of the movie will begin very soon. On the work front, Simbu has ‘Pathu Thala’ slated to hit the screens on March 30. He is currently in Thailand and will soon return to take part in promotions of Pathu Thala and will start working on STR48.
