Simbu’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu final schedule to take place in this city!

Simbu is continuing his different attempts post the political time-loop thriller Maanadu too. The multi-talented star is currently featuring in a never seen avatar in ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon with music by AR Rahman. The glimpse video of the film which was released earlier confirmed the same.

We had already reported to you that the filming of VTK has almost reached the finish line. The latest buzz we hear is that the makers, who were shooting continuously in Chennai and Mumbai, are now shifted the shooting to Pondicherry for the final stint of the production works. The entire film team will be camping in the soothing city for the next few weeks to wrap up the film shoot by early January.

Except for a few stars, the crew has kept details about others under wrap. Radhika Sarathkumar is essaying the pivotal role of STR’s mother in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and the Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav is playing the negative role. Reportedly, Kannada actress Kayadu Lohar features as the leading lady.

Siddhartha Nuni is handling the camera while Anthony takes care of the editing. Jeyamohan has written the movie while Thamarai pens lyrics for the songs. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is likely to hit the screens worldwide in the summer of 2022. On the personal front, Silambarasan is also part of the films ‘Pathu Thala’ and ‘Corona Kumar’.
