Madhavan and Anushka are teaming up for the new multilingual movie 'Silence' fourteen years after Sundar C's 'Rendu' which marked Anushka's Tamil debut as well. The psychological horror is directed by Hemanth Madhukar and features Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Hollywood star Michael Madsen.

The trailer of 'Silence' has been released and the visually rich shots canned in the US suggests a nail-biting horror with a psychological twist and completely driven by Anushka's character who is apparently speech impaired. Anushka's acting in the shots is alluring to say the lease especially her authentic sign language. Anjali plays a no-nonsense cop who investigates murders in the neighbourhood which is blamed on ghosts which she refuses to believe and possibly suspects the heroine herself. Maddy is playing a musician and husband of Anushka's character which holds the key to the whole screenplay. Shaneil Deo's cinematography and Gopi Sundar's music add the spine chilling edge to the proceedings.

Hemanth Madhukar surely raises expectations for 'Silence' with the visually rich trailer with high production values provided by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation. The release has been confirmed for April 2nd this year.
