SIlambarasan and Anirudh who have been facing strong public outrage for the controversial 'Beep Song' were supposed to appear in the Coimabtore Race Course Police Station this morning as per the summons sent to them based on a complaint launched against them by a prominent women rights organisations.
Silambarasan's plea in Madras High Court for an interim injunction on Police summon was rejected and he had to be present this morning at 9 am at the station.
They were supposed to be present at the police station at 9 am today, as per the summons issued to them. But till now both the young celebrities charged of writing, composing and singing the song with controversial lines and held responsible for its leakage in public forums have not appeared in the police station.
We will have to wait and watch for the next turn of events and we will as usual keep you posted about it.
Meanwhile, the Chennai District Secretary of Pattali Makkal Katchi, a prominent political party in Tamil Nadu has lodged a complaint in Saidapet Police Station seeking criminal action against Simbu and Anirudh for insulting women by allegedly being part of the Beepsong.
