Siddharth and Trisha have been active in Kollywood for the past 12 years and director Sundar.C's 'Aranmanai 2' is the third film they are working together.

The first time they paired up, was for director Mani Ratnam's political thriller 'Aayutha Ezhuthu' which released in the year 2004. The film had a memorable beach song 'Nee Yaaro' featuring the pair.

Now, after almost 12 years, Sid and Trish are shooting for another beach song for 'Aranmanai 2', which is being choreographed by dance master Brinda .

'Aranmanai 2' is a multi starrer sequel of 2014 horror comedy directed by Sundar.C with the same title. The film stars Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika, Poonam Bhajwa, Soori and others. Musical score has been rendered by Hip hop Tamizha Aadhi.

The film scheduled to hit the screens for Pongal 2016, has been produced by Khushbu Sundar under Avni Cinemax banner.
