Shruti Haasan’s shocking revelation about alcohol addiction

Shruti Haasan in spite of being the daughter of the legendary Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has carved a niche for herself as a multitalented entertainer juggling her music, singing and acting careers.  Like her illustrious father she too is an outspoken individual who prefers not to hide anything about her life.

In the recent episode of Lakshmi Manchu’s ‘Feet Up With The Stars’ Shruti has shared about the alcohol addiction.  She has stated “Yeah, I was a big-time whiskey lover. I have taken a break and decided to stop everything. This is a new change for me. Actually, I was unwell and I did not tell anybody. I thought it is personal and I did not share my illness with outsiders or friends. Shruti has further added that she stopped accepting films since she was getting the same type of roles.  The stunning beauty is currently playing the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Laabam’ directed by S.P. Jananathan.
