Shivani is currently focused on her new found career and states that she prepared for the up-coming roles for her whole life. She learned Bharathanatiyam and Kuchipudi, classical dance styles as a part of growing up in the South Indian tradition. Her talents include playing musical instruments like Keyboard, Guitar and Veena.

She is a well-known face in the cine-circles of Tamil industry and a great socialite.

Speaking about her health, she recently underwent treatment for a health issue and as a part of recovery she went to the gym everyday which soon became a habit that she couldn`t quit.
