Shilpa Shetty in Andhadhun Telugu remake?

Shilpa Shetty has done almost four films in Telugu and the last film was in 2001. After that, the actress has never come back to Tollywood. But now, it looks like she is going to do that.

Yes, as per the latest buzz, Shilpa Shetty is said to have been approached to play one of the important roles in the Telugu remake of Andhadhun, a Bollywood blockbuster film. Nithiin is going to step into Ayushmann Khurrana’s shoes and play the musician who pretends to be bling, but later actually turns out to be.

In the original film, Tabu plays one of the lead characters and in Telugu, who will play this role has been a big question. Though there were reports that she will only be doing the film in Telugu too, there has been buzz about it being true.

Later, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ramya Krishnan’s names were also doing rounds. And now, the latest name we hear is that Shilpa Shetty is going to play the role. There has been no official confirmation about the same, but the news is that she has been approached. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.
