‘Shashtipoorthi’ First Look Motion Poster: Touching & Nostalgic

The film stars Rupesh in the lead and features Rajendra Prasad and Archana in the prominent roles. The iconic ‘Ladies Tailor’ pair is reuniting after 37 years. The film’s music is by legendary musician ‘Isaignani’ Ilayaraja. The film has a huge list of prominent technicians. National-Award winning art director Thota Tharani has worked for the film. All these factors raise a lot of interest on ‘Shashtipoorthi’

Directed by debutante Pavan Prabha, the film explores reaching the milestone of 60 years, delving into family bonds and values.The movie with 80% shooting completed, spans various life stages across 80 locations, primarily in the Rajahmundry vicinity. Aakanksha Singh is paired with Rupesh, and Isaignani Ilayaraja is contributing to the music. The film highlights commitment to quality cinema and is set to continue shooting. The cast includes Achyut Kumar, Tenali Shakuntala, and others.

Film director Pavan Prabha highlighted the significance of ‘Shastipoorthi,’ stating it revolves around the unique opportunity to compensate for the void of not witnessing one’s parents’ wedding.

Crafted with heart-touching dialogues and crucial action scenes, the protagonist Rupesh is undergoing special training for these sequences. The film reunites ‘Ladies Tailor’ pair Rajendra Prasad and Archana, portraying different life stages, including a retro episode shot in Tathapudi near Yanam. Spanning 80 locations, with major shooting in the Rajahmundry vicinity, the film captures the natural beauty of the Godavari region. Featuring five songs, one filmed in Ramoji Film City and the rest in the Godavari region.
