Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has left KT Rama Rao flabbergasted by using a complex, difficult-to-spell and unfathomable word on Twitter.
It all began with KTR putting out a tweet on a lighter note. He asked if anyone has any idea as to who comes up with unpronounceable names for medicines. He gave the examples of Posaconazole, Cresemba, Tocilzumab, Remdesivir, Liposomal Amphoterecin, Flavipiravir, Molnupiravir, and Baricitinib.
The TRS leader joked that he is sure Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is known for using complex words, has a role in coming up with such complex names. To everyone’s surprise, Tharoor came back and quipped, “Not guilty! How can you indulge in such floccinaucinihilipilification, @KTRTRS? Left to me I’d happily call them “CoroNil”, “CoroZero”, & even “GoCoroNaGo!” But these pharmacists are more procrustean.”
The IT Minister of Telangana didn’t stop at this and tweeted, “Devudaaaa…..had to pull out a dictionary & Tharoorosaurus to comprehend. P.S: Loved the Coronil dig.”
By the way, floccinaucinihilipilification literally means the action or habit of estimating something as worthless.
