Ace director Selvaraghaban is thrilled about making his acting debut in Arun Matheswaran’s ‘Saani Kaayidham‘. The film has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead playing the sister role of Selva. The project is currently in post-production and his fans are excited to see him in this new avatar.

‘Saani Kaayidham‘ is said to be an action drama set in the 1980s. Arun has worked as an assistant director of Thiagarajan Kumararaja in the National award-winning movie ‘Aaranya Kaandam‘ and he is also the dialogue writer of Sudha Kongara’s ‘Irudhi Suttru‘. Now, the latest reports have confirmed that Saani Kaayidham will skip the theatrical release. According to reliable sources, Screen Scene Media Entertainment has signed a deal with Amazon Prime for a direct digital release. The movie is likely to premiere in February 2022. An official announcement from the streaming giant is expected soon.

Sam CS of Kaithi fame is scoring music for the film which was majorly shot in Rameshwaram and surrounding locales. Yamini Yagnamurthy of Sillukarupatti fame has cranked the camera with stunts choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan. We hear that Saani Kaayidham will be the most violent film in Keerthy Suresh’s career.
