Selena Gomez Officially Dating Benny Blanco, Throws Subtle Shade at Ex-Flames

Selena Gomez confirmed her relationship with record producer Benny Blanco, indirectly pointing out her exes humorously. The 31-year-old singer admitted her romance with Blanco while throwing subtle shade playfully at exes of hers like The Weeknd, Nick Jonas, Zedd, and the notably famous Justin Bieber.

This follows an Instagram account, Popfactions, speculating on the status of Gomez’s relationship with Blanco, to which she replied, “Facts.” Even though @popfactions had published its sentiments as of December 4, it is only on December 7 that Gomez will comment on the matter. After commenting, Gomez would commence weekends by posting a photo of her and a man thought to be Blanco in her Instagram Stories.

But that is not where it ended. 

Gomez actively defended her relationship with Blanco in the comments beneath a few fan accounts, affirming that they have been dating for six months. In a reaction to followers questioning Blanco’s suitability for her, Gomez lauded him as “the best thing that’s ever happened to me” and “better than anyone I’ve been with.”

Rumours that Gomez and Blanco were dating began surfacing weeks ago as fans observed the slightly increased frequency of their social media interactions. Fans also speculated on a sweet note that Blanco shared, supposedly from his “gf,” that was written in handwriting uncannily similar to that of Gomez.

Adding to the speculation, Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, said that she had only recently started following Blanco on Instagram. This seemed like putting a nail in the coffin for those watching the situation unfold closely.
