‘Seetimaarr’ gets OTT release date

‘Seetimaarr’, which hit the screens on September 10, has locked its OTT release date. The Gopichand-starrer will be premiered on Hotstar from October 15.

Directed by Sampath Nandi, it stars Tamannaah Bhatia as the heroine. When the film was released for Ganesh Chavithi in September, the openings were great. It was declared a box office hit at a success event held four days after the release of the movie. 

Our review of the action entertainer said, “‘Seetimaarr’ is in the league of tried-and-tested masala movies, with the Kabaddi element being the only distinct one. It’s watchable if you love action movies.” The film was not a Kabaddi-based drama, though.

Meanwhile, on Friday (October 8), Gopichand-Nayanthara’s ‘Aaradugula Bullet’ hit the screens. Its chief competitor ‘Konda Polam’ is also in the fray. Directed by B Gopal, the film has Prakash Raj in a key role.
