Bala’s ‘Tharai Thappattai’ wrapped up

There were varying reports about the status of director Bala’s next film ‘Tharai Thappattai’. A few weeks back it was said that the shooting has been wrapped while last week the team was still shooting some scenes in the backdrop of Tanjore.

But now it has been confirmed that the shooting of this Sasikumar-Varalakshmi Sarathkumar starrer has been wrapped up. The photo of the entire crew taken after the completion of the last day shoot has been released and this has Bala at the middle near the camera and a person standing at a corner with a turmeric smeared Poosanikkai that would be broken to mark the end of shooting.

‘Tharai Thappattai’ is touted to be a film about the lives of native artists in Tamil Nadu with musical score by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. The distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Lyca Productions
