Santosh Shoban’s ‘Anni Manchi Sakunamule’ locks release date

Swapna Cinema, after delivering ‘Sita Ramam’, is now gearing up for another potential hit. The banner’s next film is with actor Santosh Shoban and director Nandini Reddy. ‘Anni Manchi Sakunamule’ is the name.

The film, a family drama with light-touch emotions and light-veined humour, will hit the screens on December 21. 

The film, which is in its post-production phase, is expected to make the most of the pre-Christmas and Christmas holiday season. 

Malavika Nair of ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ fame is paired up with the ‘Ek Mini Katha’ actor. 

Producer Priyanka Dutt and Mitra Vinda Movies have pooled an ensemble cast: Vennela Kishore, the dependable Rao Ramesh, VK Naresh, Rajendra Prasad,  and the choosy Gautami make for a perfect cast. 

With Mickey J Meyer composing the music, expect feel-good tunes. The cinematography is by Sunny Kurapati. Dawood and Lakshmi Bhupala, respectively, have written the screenplay and dialogues.
