Shraddha Srinath comes in support of Samyukthe Hegde after attack in park!

Popular Kannada actress Samyuktha Hegde who has also acted in few Tamil movies like Jayam Ravi starrer Comali and Puppyy starring Varun had recently got into trouble when she went along with her friends to a park in Bangalore to exercise. A group of people hurled abuses and even attacked Samyuktha’s friend, and a lady who lead the group ridiculed Samyuktha for wearing sports bra in a public place.

Samyuktha Hegde had recorded the series of incidents and shared the videos on social media which turned viral and netizens came out in support of the actress. Ner Konda Paarvai, Vikram Vedha actress Shraddha Srinath, who is a former lawyer herself, took to Instagram to support and laud Samyukta for her brave act.

Shraddha Srinath posted a series of stories on Instagram which read “Assault, slander, wrongful confinement. As an ex lawyer I can already think of three charges @samyuktha_hegde can charge this lady and the mob of men who ganged up against her for (correct me if I am wrong). You tell me. Is it an equal world for women? A man can run around shirtless or in a vest and nobody will bat an eyelid but a girl wearing a sports bra for a brief moment will be hit, accused of public indecency, dragged into a whole different scandal, taken to the police station and be traumatized. It’s a SHAME. It’s fucking shame. Samyukta is a strong girl. She handled this immensely well. Thank you for fighting for us Sam.”
