‘Jai Chiranjeeva’ actress Sameera Reddy was one of the most popular actresses in the early 2000s. The multi-lingual actress has revealed that she auditioned for a Mahesh Babu film once, only to be rejected because she was too nervous to get it right.
In her social media post, the ‘Narasimhudu’ actress wrote, “My first audition 1998. It was for a movie with Mahesh Babu. I was mad scared. I couldn’t perform and cried my way back home. I decided to take up a desk job which I did for 2 yrs with a watch company. Till I again mustered up the courage and did my first music video Aahista Kijiye Baatien.”
The post is going viral.
In 2019, Sameera revealed that she weighed 102 kgs for four years. “It took me 2 years more to lose the weight and to step out and face the world again but I wish I had the courage then. I did it naturally with no fad diets, no easy way out. Only with dedicated workout, yoga, pilates and strength training,” the actress wrote.
