Samantha’s thriller is titled ‘Yashoda’

‘Yashoda’ is the title of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s multi-lingual, pan-India thriller with directors Hari and Harish. The film, which is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, went on the floors today.

To be released in all major South Indian languages and Hindi, the film is touted to be a new-age thriller. Producer Prasad, who has produced ‘Sammohanam’ on his Sridevi Movies Production, has said that the story of the ambitious 2022 release has been conceived keeping in mind the growing image of the ‘Majili’ and ‘The Family Man 2’ actress.

Mani Sharma, who recently composed music for ‘Republic’ and awaits the release of ‘Acharya’, is composing the music. M Sukumar, Ashok, Venkat and Marthand K Venkatesh are taking care of cinematography, art, action and editing departments, respectively.

Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr. C Bhagya Lakshmi are penning the dialogue, while Ramajogayya Sastry is penning the lyrics. The film will complete the shoot by March next year.
