Samantha’s ‘Shaakuntalam’ postponed officially

‘Shaakuntalam’, presented by Dil Raju and directed by Gunasekhar has been postponed for the third time.

In a statement today, the makers regretted to inform about the indefinite postponement. The film, therefore, will NOT be hitting the screens on February 17.

At the fag end of 2022, the film was postponed for the purpose of upgrading it to 3D. And its latest inability to arrive at the box office has no apparent making-related reason. The buzz is that the makers want to release the promising movie when BO prospects look the brightest. So, the film might hit the screens in April, when the Summer audience will be wanting to watch movies.

The film has music by Mani Sharma. Producer Neelima Guna is looking at a big 2D and 3D release for the movie in multiple languages.
