Official news from Samantha’s side regarding her health following the hospitalisation reports

Samantha, one of the leading Indian actresses, is currently basking in the success of her medical thriller ‘Yashoda’. While recent reports stated that the alluring heroine is undergoing treatment for skin disease, she revealed last month that she is diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called ‘Myositis’. 

Samantha stated that her remission is taking a little longer than she expected and she is recovering slowly. Meanwhile, it was reported today that the actress was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad due to a sudden illness. However, Sam’s spokesperson denied the rumours and confirmed that she is resting in her residence in Hyderabad. 

On the film front, Samantha will be seen in the upcoming multilingual films – ‘Shaakuntalam’ and ‘Kushi’. She is also working on the Amazon Prime series ‘Citadel’ co-starring Varun Dhawan created by ‘The Family Man’ makers Raj & DK and her international film debut ‘The Arrangements of Love’.
