Though the numbers are huge, the opening episode featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh garnered almost 12.2+ million views on the first weekend. While the margin is only slightly higher, Samantha’s episode is supposed to be beating the ‘opener’ by a huge edge, which doesn’t happen.

On the work front, Samantha is waiting for the release of Shakunthalam directed by Gunasekhar, where she will be seen as Shakuntala. In November 2021, she was cast in Arrangements of Love directed by Philip John, marking her international debut.
