Sharwanand awaits the release of 'Jaanu' on February 7. Starring Samantha Akkineni as the heroine, the film's teaser was recently out. Directed by C Premkumar, its music is by Govind Vasanth.

Speaking to a daily, the 'Mahanubhavudu' and 'Ranarangam' actor has said that the 'Majili' and 'Oh Baby' actress is the best among the current lot. Talking about 'Jaanu', which is a remake of '96', Sharwa said that it narrates the tale of a high school pair who cross paths 20 years after they parted ways.

The actor will next do a film that drives home the importance of farmers. To be directed by debutant Kishore Reddy, it's titled 'Sreekaram'. The entertainer is about the respect that farmers deserve in a society that is obsessed with doctors and engineers.
