Samantha, the most-wanted actress, hasn't done any new films after 'Shaakuntalam' and 'Kushi' as she was undergoing treatment for her autoimmune condition. Now, she is back in showbiz and recently wrapped up shooting for her new web series, 'Citadel', co-starring Varun Dhawan.

As per the latest buzz, Samantha will be signing her comeback movie soon. She was approached by the makers of Ram Charan's 16th film to play a crucial role. Tentatively called, 'RC 16' will be the RRR actor's next after director Shankar's 'Game Changer'. The upcoming movie is helmed by director Buchi Babu Sana.

Samantha is yet to make a final decision in this regard. If everything goes well, she will be the leading lady of 'RC 16'. Earlier, Sai Pallavi was said to be in talks for the role but it seems that she has turned down the offer. This much-awaited film is likely to have music scored by AR Rahman with Vijay Sethupathi in the antagonist role. We have to wait for an official update.
