Former actress and Bollywood star Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali has been making the headlines yet again after she opened up about how Salman Khan cheated on her and that they broke up for the same reason.

Somy Ali has now revealed that she has had a few bad experiences in Bollywood, including when a couple of directors tried to have sex with her. She reportedly said, "A couple of directors tried to have sex with me. I was in a horribly abusive relationship. So yes, it was pretty bad overall." Claiming that she was a 'misfit' in the industry, the former actress added that she had no plans to return to Bollywood. Speaking about her 8-year long relationship with Salman Khan, Somy Ali talked about how she went to Mumbai in the 90s with a dream of marrying the actor. "It was 1991 and I was 16. I saw Maine Pyar Kiya, and I went, 'I have to marry this guy!' I told my mom that I am going to India tomorrow. She, of course, sent me off to my room, but I kept pleading that I have to go to India and marry this guy — Salman Khan," Somy Ali was quoted as saying.

The duo, after dating for over 8 years, parted ways in 1999. In her acting career, Somy Ali featured in a number of Bollywood movies, including 'Aao Pyaar Karen' and 'Teesra Kaun.' She has also worked alongside some of the most prominent actors of Bollywood, including Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Saif Ali Khan, and Govinda among others.
