Sai Tej tributes to his mom: Changes name, starts production house

Sai Tej’s decision to change his name to Sai Durga Tej on Women’s Day came as a surprise to many. However, he recently revealed the heartfelt reason behind this change and the significance it holds for him. Taking to social media, he shared a photo of himself seeking blessings from his uncle, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, announcing the launch of his production house, Vijayadurga Productions, as a gift to his mother.

In his post, Sai Durga Tej expressed his gratitude towards his uncles, Chiranjeevi and Nagababu, as well as his mentor, Pawan Kalyan, for their blessings. He also thanked his producer, Dil Raju, for his support in his career. The launch of his production house marks a new beginning for him, filled with hope and aspirations.

Sai Durga Tej has always been known for his commitment to social causes and his respect for women. He has actively participated in various service programs and donates a portion of his earnings to charity. His efforts extend to running an old age home in Vijayawada and supporting children in a Telangana village.

His latest project, “Satya,” produced under Vijayadurga Productions in association with Dil Raju Productions, is a musical short film that highlights his reverence for women and admiration for soldiers. The film, directed by Naveen Vijayakrishna, features Colors Swati as his wife and has garnered acclaim in various film festivals, winning several awards.

“Sai Durga Tej” explained that the name change honors the three important women in his life: his grandmother, Anjana Devi; his mother, Vijaya Durga; and his younger sister, Madhavi. The decision to change his name reflects his desire to always have his mother’s presence and blessings with him.

“Satya” is a tribute to the sacrifices made by soldiers for the country and the unwavering support of their families. Sai Durga Tej’s portrayal of a soldier torn between his love for his wife and his duty towards the nation has been lauded for its emotional depth. The film’s theme of sacrifice and dedication resonates with the stories of many unsung heroes and their families. Singer Shruti Ranjani’s soulful composition adds to the emotional impact of the film, which has received acclaim at international film festivals.
