Padi Padi Leche Manasu' was last year's last big disaster, worse than the fate met by 'Antariksham'. Its producer is believed to have incurred a huge loss, especially because the budget had spiralled out of control. Some estimates are putting the loss at more than Rs 10 Cr for the producer.

In the wake of the ignominious result, Sai Pallavi has reportedly given up a part of her remuneration. She was to be paid Rs 40 lakh. The 'Fidaa' and 'MCA' actress said no to the amount in order to give some respite to the producer.

Perhaps the costliest movie in the career of Sharwanand, the rom-com was directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Sai Pallavi's presence didn't help the film in any way, which is quite shocking. In fact, 'KGF', released on the same date, went on to become a sleeper hit.
