Sai Durgha Tej Bags ‘Most Desirable (Male)’ Award At Inaugural Eugenix Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards South 2025

The first-ever Eugenix Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards South 2025 were held at the Park Hyatt in Hyderabad on Saturday, bringing together some of the biggest names from the South Indian film industry. Among the major honours of the evening, actor Sai Dugha Tej (popularly known as Sai Dharam Tej) won the Most Desirable (Male) award.

The award was presented by music director Devi Sri Prasad, but what made it truly unforgettable was Tej’s decision to accept it through his parents, mother Vijaya Durga and father Dr. Siva Prasad. The heartfelt gesture drew a warm round of applause from the audience.

On stage, Tej dedicated the honour to his mother, recalling her unwavering support during his recovery from a life-threatening accident. “When I thought everything was lost, my mother stood by me and gave me courage. She boosted my confidence and brought me back to normalcy,” he shared.

Speaking on the red carpet, Tej revealed his three golden rules for staying stylish. He said, “Wear what’s comfortable, feel at ease, and be happy and peaceful.” Naming his style icons, he chose Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan, and picked Ram Charan’s look in Orange as his all-time favourite film style.

The glittering event saw many prominent film celebrities, including Nani, Adivi Sesh, Sudheer Babu, Sundeep Kishan, Malavika Mohanan, Teja Sajja, Anil Ravipudi, Naga Vamsi, Pragya Jaiswal, Raashii Khanna, Manchu Lakshmi, Bhagyashri Borse, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Chinmayi Sripaada and Devi Sri Prasad.

Up next, Sai Dugha Tej will be seen in Sambarala Yeti Gattu (SYG), a high-budget action drama directed by Rohith KP with Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leading lady. The film is slated for release in late 2025.
