Sonu Sood on Saturday took to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction over China trying to block consignments and shipments of oxygen concentrators exported to India at a time when Indians are gasping for breath in hospitals and at homes due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The multi-lingual actor said that it’s sad that China is doing such a thing.
Night curfews extended in Telangana
Tagging concerned authorities, the ‘Acharya’ actor wrote, “We are trying to get hundreds of oxygen concentrators to India. It’s sad to say that China has blocked lots of our consignments and here in India we are losing lives every minute. I request @China_Amb_India and @MFA_China to help us get our consignments cleared so we can save lives.”
A number of tweeples came out in support of Sonu’s appeal, and questioned China’s unethical moves.
Recently, the ‘Arundhati’ actor was in the news over testing for coronavirus. He has recovered and has been deploying medical material for the needy.
