‘Saakshyam’ censor done, release announced

‘Saakshyam’, the supernatural thriller, has got ‘U/A’ certificate from the Censor board.   As announced already, the big-budget entertainer will hit the screens on July 27. 

As was reported recently, the prestigious EROS International is releasing the movie worldwide. 

Starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, this Sriwass directorial has five massively-mounted fights.  If Peter Hein’s fights work, the film will have big openings in B and C centres.  Sreenivas has done the action episodes without a body double.  Shot in a range of locations (like Varanasi, Bellary and Dubai), the film is the biggest release this weekend.  

Harshavardhan Rameshwar has composed music while Arthur A Wilson has handled the cinematography.  Produced by Abhishek Nama under Abhishek Pictures, ‘Saakshyam’ features Jagapathi Babu, Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, Pavithra Lokesh, Vennela Kishore and Meena in other roles.
