Legendary singer S.P. Balasubramaniam admitted to a private hospital in Chennai due to mild COVID 19 symptoms is now in a critical condition and has been moved to the intensive care unit (ICU). He is currently said to be on life support after his condition suddenly worsened overnight.
SPB on August 5th revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus and got admitted to MGM hospital in Choolaimedu, Chennai. He posted on social media “For the past 2-3 days I was having little discomfort, just congestion which is nonsense for a singer. Phlegm forming, cold and on and off fever – except these things I didn’t have any problem, but I didn’t want to take it easy and went to hospital and checked, and they said it was a very mild positive of Coronavirus.”
A team of doctors are said to be monitoring SPB’s health while his industry colleagues who heard the news are praying for a speedy recovery as we also are doing at the moment.
