Ace director Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' did not fetch the expected results at the box office. However the filmmaker who has seen many hits and flops in his illustrious career is apparently started work on his next project.
There were many rumours doing rounds about Mani Ratnam's next. At first it was said that Ram Charan Teja and the 'Kaatru Veliyidai' heroine Aditi Rao Hydari will play the lead role in Mani's next. Recently it was rumoured that the 'Thalapathy' director is in talks with Superstar Rajinikanth and Mammootty for his next.
The latest addition to this series of speculation is that Mani Ratnam will be teaming up with Aishwarya Rai for his next which will be a romantic drama made in Hindi and Tamil languages. If this information is true it will be the fourth time the Pan Indian filmmaker and the former Miss World will be teaming up after 'Iruvar', 'Guru' and 'Raavanan'.
However we will have to wait for an official confirmation from the film-making master before concluding anything about his next.
