‘RRR’ actor Ajay Devgn to produce remake of ‘Brochevarevarura’

‘Brochevarevarura’ (2019), directed by Vivek Athreya and starring Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Satyadev and Nivetha Pethuraj, will now be remade in Hindi. The much-happening Ajay Devgn, who is doing SS Rajamouli’s ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’, is going to bankroll the remake.

The crime comedy will reportedly star Abhay Deol and others. Currently in the scripting stage, the film will go on the floors next year.

Deven Munjal will wield the megaphone. Reports suggest that Devgn, who earlier this year was seen in ‘Tanhaji’ (Hindi), has been determined to take the Telugu film to the Hindi audience. His directorial ‘MayDay’, starring himself, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh, went on the floors recently in Hyderabad.

Besides ‘Brochevarevarura’, the Hindi remake of ‘Jersey’ is also getting ready. Starring Shahid Kapoor reprising Nani, the emotional sports drama recently wrapped up its shoot. It’s directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who worked on the Telugu original.
