The novel coronavirus pandemic has touched its peak with the affected among global population crossing 1 million and the death count crossing 50 thousand.  The Tamil Nadu and the Indian government has enforced lockdown for 21 days in an attempt to curb the spread though there is a sharp increase in patients in the country with India recording 2567 patients.

The Tamil Nadu Health Minister C.Vijayabhaskar has shared that today robotic nurses were tested at the government Stanley Hospital in Chennai. The robots would be used to deliver food and medicines to minimize contact with medical personnel.   Well one thing is certain the positives of the COVID 19 is it is forcing innovations that would otherwise taken a long time to be implemented especially in the government sector.
