The recent terror attacks at Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama area by the terrorist outfit Jaish E Mohammed lead to the death of 40 CRPF soldiers who were returning in a convoy of 2500 soldiers. Among those dead were two Tamil soldiers, Subramanian and Sivachandran.
Besides the relief of 20 lakhs announced by the Tamilnadu Chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy, the families of the soldiers have been receiving financial support from various corners and several celebrities have also been visiting the homes of the soldiers and consoling them.
The latest to lend a helping hand happens to be comedian Robo Shankar, as the actor had went to the home of Subramanian in Savalaperi, Kovilpatti, and paid respects before his photo, and consoled his family and gave them 1 lakh as his contribution. The actor then also visited the residence of Ariyalur Sivachandran and gave his family a financial support of Rs 1 lakh.
