A right-wing group on Friday morning reportedly burned a copy of the Islamic book Quran during a demonstration, in Sweden. Hours later, 300 members of a particular community gathered in Malmo and started rioting, reports say.
The mobs went berserk throwing stones at cops and also burned down car tyres over the “anti-Islam” activity of the right-wing group led by Rasmus Paludan, leader of a political party named Hard Line. “There is mass looting and destruction in Malmo after Muslim rioters angered by a video of someone burning a Koran take to the streets,” wrote Ian Miles Cheon, reporting on the riots.
Meanwhile, the right-wing leader has reportedly been banned from Sweden. “Sent back and banned from Sweden for two years. However, rapists and murderers are always welcome!” the leader wrote on Facebook.
