RGV-Nagarjuna film updates

It's known that the 'Shiva' combination is back in style  Ram Gopal Varma's next with Akkineni Nagarjuna will start shooting from Nov 20.

To be produced by RGV himself, the film will be shot first at Annapurna Studios.  This has a sentimental reason.  It was in the famous environs of this iconic studio that the first shot of the cult classic called 'Shiva' was filmed.

"I am extremely excited that I am doing a film with Nagarjuna after nearly 25 years but contrary to some uninformed media speculations, this new film has nothing to do with 'SHIVA' neither in character nor in story content.  It's a very different but an extremely realistic action film set against a story we both have never done before.  I just hope I will once again live up to his expectations," RGV says.

The film is planned to be released in April, a month that will see big-ticket films like 'Bharat Ane Nenu', 'Na Peru Surya' and either '2.0' or 'Kaali' releasing.  Sudheer Chandra Padiri, a long-time friend of RGV, will present this film.
