Renu Desais role in Telugu film is now official

Renu Desai is doing a Telugu film in the direction of Vamsi Krishna of 'Dongata' fame. This one is going to be her comeback movie.

She will be seen as Hemalatha Lavanam, a social reformer, in the movie. The Telugu reformer hailed from Guntur and was the daughter of Gurram Joshua. An atheist, she fought against untouchability in the 20th century.

Renu, who never did a Telugu film after 'Johnny', has said that she feels happy to be playing Hemalatha in the movie.
