As we had reported earlier, the fringe outfit Hindu Makkal Katchi has filed a complaint seeking arrest of Kamal Haasan and all the contestants of the Big Boss Tamil reality show telecast in a popular Tamil satellite channel on all the seven days of a week. On the same day, Kamal, the host of the show organised a Press meet at this Alwarpet residence and announced that he has committed nothing wrong by hosting the show and the show is necessary for the society as much as cricket is.
Today, a group of members from the outfit including some students have started protesting in front of Kamal Haasan's house at Alwarpet against the Big Boss show and its host. They are demanding that the Big Boss show which is against the social and cultural values of Tamils should be stopped immediately.
Police protection for the actor's residence has been increased to avoid any untoward incidents.
