It’s known that, on Thursday, the Telangana High Court enabled the provisional registrations of non-agricultural property in Telangana, saying that asking for the Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the involved parties is valid. Gram panchayats, municipalities, municipal corporations and GHMC are now obligated to provide PTIN to applicants. There is a deadline of two days for the same.
The news is that, in keeping with the HC order, the K Chandrasekhar Rao government has implemented the order. “Hon’ble CM Sri KCR Garu has directed the Chief Secretary to commence the registration activities of Non-Agricultural properties from tomorrow (Friday) in accordance with the HC orders,” KT Rama Rao, the IT Minister, tweeted.
The HC order is because the KCR government was not ready to budge on the rule of using only the Dharani portal for registrations. Seeing its point, the HC issued the Thursday order.
