“Registration for 18 plus to begin on http://cowin.gov.in, Aarogya Setu App & UMANG App at 4 PM on 28th April. Appointments at State Govt centers & Private centers depending on how many vaccination centers are ready on 1st May for Vaccination of 18 plus,” Aarogya Setu application said today. However, when many individuals took to the concerned website/app to register themselves, it was of no help.
After hours of confusion, it was then announced by the government that registrations will be open only fater 4 pm on April 28.
Meanwhile, the government is promoting the registration drive actively. “I urge all citizens above 18 years of age to register for the COVID-19 vaccination. If you are 18+ then be ready! Get vaccinated for your safety and to curb the transmission of COVID-19. Let us #Unite2FightCorona,” tweeted Union Minister Piyush Goyal.
